A few months ago (technically last year), snow started falling

And it's freezing

Well, guess that the only thing I can do is to thank Him that I'm not in the polar regions (where summer is around -30 degrees Celsius or so).

Also, taking some time to try a new (winter) sport: Snowboarding

It hurts (a lot), especially when falling over (in some cases, twisting your legs), colliding with other people or trees (or anything within the way). 

But, like been said before, new things to be discovered, as well as new challenges lying within.

"Forward!"

Hobby. Some do have, some don't. Depends on the person, their hobbies are different.

But one thing is for sure: A regular activity done for pleasure, typically during leisure (past time activity), in which continual participation in it can provide skills and knowledge (about hobby and things done for it). A person who does the activity solely for fun is called an 'amateur', while anyone who does it for reward is called a 'professional'.

As for me, I'm just an amateur (well, sort of), building and collecting scaled models (mostly military-related, like tanks, fighters, etc), sketching, etc.

Before been reduce to ashes (when my house was partially burnt in 2009)

But that doesn't stop my hobby from progressing. Slowly (and surely), the collection builds up.

It didn't stop, even during my preparation course (before departing for Japan) at University of Malaya, where I bought (and brought some from home) models and put it on my study table, and 'played' with it  when stuck with assignments (while my friend next to me just wondering what am I doing).

"Saje nak lepaskan stress (Just releasing my stress)", I said.

Arriving in Japan, where I finally have more spaces.

 But still, I have that feeling (about my friend next door been wondering what am I doing).

Some of my friends here (plus my seniors) do asked me about the models.

(Some even think that what I am doing here are meaningless and a waste of money)

The said is true (for some) about the money. But I just assume it as a kind of 'Investment' which one has to made to obtain something, in which the important thing is to plan the 'Investment' (to plan what to get next and not going overboard).

(Some people like snowboarding, and spent quite a lot of money for it).

But I don't really care of those (well, I do told them the details about the models). The important thing is that I'm proud of it (to own something that not all people have). It's the way of learning more on my capability (like building a scale model, which might  help during my study here in civil engineering course) as well as creativity (getting new ideas on how to solve problems, analytically and practically).

 Apart from that, I also be able to know more the things which I never knew before (especially on the models that I had built and collect, in real world. In other words, general knowledge).

Although each and every models have their own names (like 'Bismarck' for example) I don't use it. Instead, I use my own name based on various sources to invoke the sense of epicness, as a part of my so-called 'Ilinsaiyye Armed Forces' (Ilinskaya Vooruzhenniya Silya).

And that includes adding (some) details which are not available on the original, real world thing.

In reality, it's actually a model of the Imperial Japanese Navy Light Cruiser 'Agano' (a World War II era ship).

• Description: Front line main battle tank of the Ilinsaiyye Army. Armed with one 2A46 125mm smoothbore tank gun, NSVT 12.7mm & PKT 7.62mm machine gun. Built using composite 'Chobham Armour'.

In reality, it's actually a model of the Soviet Army T-72M1 Main Battle Tank

Above all, it's just a slice (me) of a bigger part (other people), where each have his own identity, his own ways of expressing ideas and creativity (where much of it still waiting to be discovered).

And as for me, the collections will keep adding on and on (until when it was decided that it must not go on for some unavoidable reasons).

Nota: i-400 yang sebenar adalah sedikit berlainan berbanding yang ini. Model ini diubahsuai sedikit melalui penambahan 3 turet senjata (dua di depan, 1 di belakang), seterusnya meningkatkan lagi kesiapsiagaannya untuk menghadapi peperangan (menurut pandangan penulis).
