There was a bank robbery at a certain town. The robbers were yet to be caught, but the authorities were managed to find out the weapon used for the robbery: a Russian-made AK-47 assault rifle. Since it was an AK, and was Russian-made, people began to say that it was Russia (and its 140 million citizens who have nothing to do with the robbery) that are to be blamed for the incident.
There was an attack at a certain town. The attackers were yet to be caught, but the authorities were managed to find out the attacker's profile: they are from a certain country and practicing a certain religious belief. Since they were from that certain country, and were of that certain religious belief, people began to say that it was 'that certain religion' (and its billions of followers who have nothing to do with the attack) that are to be blamed for the incident.
